Exploitation

The AGRITECH EU exploitation strategy includes the following steps:

  1. Exploitation workshops for the consortium: definition of IP generated, exploitable results, exploitation claims and access rights of individual partner
  2. development of Roadmaps towards exploitation of the results, focusing on development of the market analysis, analysis of funding sources, identification of socio-economic impacts with respect to today’s proposal

An exploitation plan should be flexible to accommodate changes arising during the project duration. Thus, AGRITECH EU project coordinator (UNIPI) will organize, in close cooperation with the consortium, 2 exploitation workshops to prepare and regularly update the exploitation plan. The table below gives an overview of the results to be achieved through the exploitation workshops.

WS N.Expected results
1Identification of background and foreground IP for the AGRITECH EU project; more specific definition of products/processes/services resulting from AGRITECH EU that have commercial potential; present case studies, digital tools and previous research.
2Definition of individual exploitation paths and protection of results. Definition of the flow of IP between the partners. Definition of ownership and Access rights. Identification of target stakeholders/customers for AGRITECH EU solutions: assessment of new exploitation channels for results evaluation of improved exploitation plan

Although the Exploitation Plan will be further defined in detail during the project as mentioned above, the following table gives a draft list of the foreseen exploitable results coming out of the AGRITECH EU project and a first draft of the main users (first adopters or manufacturers) and owners of these results.
