Communication Dissemination and Visibility

The importance of the results of the AGRITECH EU project can be measured both in economic terms and in terms of knowledge sharing and dissemination. In particular, the project will contribute to support the SMEs enterprises of agricultural supply chain subjected to increasingly challenging competition in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Dissemination and exploitation plan

The proposed measures included in the DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION PLAN will help to achieve the expected impact of the project in term of:

  • for exploring technological solutions for digital agriculture with a responsible innovation approach
  • to acquire the ability to interact with technology suppliers and developers for the design and selection of innovative applications
  • to acquire the ability to use digital agriculture tools
  • to acquire the ability to assess the socio-economic impacts of digital technologies

AGRITECH EU project coordinator (UNIPI) will share the responsibility of the dissemination actions within the project, naturally supported by all the project consortium for the provision of material and details on results of on-going activities.

The dissemination strategy of the AGRITECH EU project will be planned taking into account the specific objectives and priorities of the EU. It will be taken into consideration addresses highlighted in the:

  • The Digitisation of the European Agricultural Sector, EC
  • Digital Agriculture, FAO
  • DIGITAL AGRICULTURE FORUM, 2020

Dissemination channels

As general start point AGRITECH EU dissemination will based on a multi-methods approach. It will transfer the results of the project to an extended audience in Europe by using the following seven different means:

Formal announcement using extended-audience national and international press and media. Preparation and maintenance of dissemination material, project logo, flyers, posters, movies, etc. A project Corporate Identity (CI) will be developed by a professional graphic designer based on the inputs provided by the consortium. This CI will be then used in all internal and external outputs.2 video 12 newsletters
Creation of a project website: including a blog where the different participants will be able to exchange experiences and compare cases. The web site will be maintained after the end of the project. The documents and all the instruments developed within the project will be available for consultation and downloading on the project website. The AGRITECH EU web site will be in charge of representing the initiative, therefore it will include private areas for delivering specific services only for a) Partners of the project, b) Peer reviewers of the project and officers of the EC;1 project website 13 dedicated pages on partners website
Dissemination and valorisation work done inside AGRITECH EU, by means of papers presented in international conferences, seminars, magazines;4 papers (at least)
Using social networks for project dissemination and to support AGRITECH EU programmes reputation. Activation of accounts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to post news and updates, video, webinars and information about the project and the partners’ programmes. The approach will be storytelling.30 posts each year
Stakeholder involvement in a committee (Stakeholders Group) dedicated to identify strategies and actions to disseminate the AGRITECH programmes and the project results. 14 stakeholders (starting point) 50 stakeholders (arrival point)
